A Day in the Life

A Security Operations Manager plans, directs, and oversees security operations for an organization. This involves developing security policies, managing personnel, conducting risk assessments, implementing technology solutions, and responding to major incidents. It's a strategic role focused on proactive risk management and efficient resource deployment.

Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols
Manage and supervise a team of security officers, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities
Oversee the operation and maintenance of CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
Investigate security incidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions
