About This Role
Enforces law and maintains order under the Sri Lanka Police — the largest law enforcement agency (~85,000 personnel). Sub-Inspector (SI) entry via competitive examination (A/L minimum). Police Constable entry via O/L. Career path: PC → Sergeant → ASI → SI → IP → DIG → IGP. Sri Lanka Police also has specialist units (STF, CID, Narcotics, TID, Traffic).
