A Day in the Life
A Natural Rubber Processing Supervisor oversees the entire process of converting raw latex into various forms of processed rubber, such as Ribbed Smoked Sheet (RSS) or concentrated latex. This involves managing staff, ensuring quality, optimizing production, and maintaining equipment in a factory setting.
- Supervise latex collection, coagulation, and sheeting processes for RSS production.
- Oversee centrifuging operations for concentrated latex production, ensuring efficiency.
- Monitor drying and smoking processes to achieve desired rubber quality and moisture content.
- Manage and train a team of factory workers, assigning tasks and ensuring productivity.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to meet ISO and buyer specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and processing equipment, arranging for maintenance.
- Maintain accurate production records, inventory of raw materials, and finished goods.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and environmental guidelines within the factory.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Work Environment
