About This Role
Provides nail care services — manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylic nails, and nail art. Growing demand in urban Colombo nail bars and salons. Nail extension and gel systems require specific product training (OPI, CND Shellac, Gelish). NVQ beauty culture certificate covers basic nail care.
A Day in the Life
A Nail Technician's day involves providing various nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, gel and acrylic nail applications, and nail art. They consult with clients, maintain hygiene, and recommend products.
- Consult with clients to assess nail health and desired services
- Perform manicures and pedicures, including nail shaping, cuticle care, and massage
