A Day in the Life

A Makeup Artist's day involves consulting with clients, understanding their vision, preparing skin, applying various makeup techniques, and ensuring the final look is flawless and long-lasting for events, photoshoots, or productions.

  • Consult with clients to understand their desired makeup look and occasion
  • Prepare skin for makeup application (cleansing, moisturizing, priming)
  • Apply foundation, concealer, contour, highlight, and blush
  • Create eye makeup looks (eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, false lashes)
  • Shape and fill eyebrows, and apply lip color
  • Ensure makeup is long-lasting and suitable for photography/lighting
  • Clean and sanitize makeup brushes and tools after each client
  • Build and maintain a professional portfolio and social media presence
