About This Role
Provides traditional Sri Lankan/Indian Ayurvedic treatments — Panchakarma, Shirodhara, Abhyanga massage, and herbal remedies. Sri Lanka has a rich Ayurvedic tradition under the Siddhalepa and Spa Ceylon brands. Degree in Ayurveda (SLAMC) or NVQ in Ayurvedic therapy. Growing wellness tourism demand.
A Day in the Life
An Ayurvedic Therapist's day involves preparing treatment rooms, welcoming clients, performing various traditional Ayurvedic massages and body treatments, and ensuring client comfort and safety. They also maintain hygiene and assist with herbal preparations.
