A Lifestyle Product Designer typically starts by brainstorming concepts based on market trends and client briefs. The day involves sketching designs, creating digital prototypes using CAD software, selecting materials, collaborating with manufacturers, and refining designs based on feedback. The focus is on creating aesthetically pleasing and functional non-apparel items like bags, jewelry, and home decor.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis for lifestyle products
- Brainstorm and conceptualize new product ideas based on briefs
- Sketch and illustrate design concepts by hand or digitally
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D models using CAD software
