A Day in the Life
You teach English language skills — speaking, listening, reading, and writing — to learners at various levels, from beginner to advanced, in language institutes, government institutions, or online platforms.
- Plan and deliver English language lessons focused on communication skills
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and writing in context
- Prepare students for IELTS, TOEFL, OET, or Cambridge English examinations
- Conduct speaking and listening practice through communicative activities
- Assess student progress through regular oral and written evaluation
- Develop teaching materials and activities for Sri Lankan adult and young learner contexts
- Provide individual feedback on written work and speaking performance
- Maintain class records and report student progress to programme managers
