About This Role

Teaching acting techniques and theatre history to students in schools.

A Day in the Life

You teach drama and theatre arts — developing students' performance skills, voice, movement, script analysis, and production capabilities through practical workshops, rehearsals, and stage productions.

  • Facilitate drama workshops — improvisation, devised theatre, scripted performance
  • Teach voice projection, articulation, and physical expressiveness
  • Guide students through script analysis and character development
  • Direct school drama productions — rehearsals, staging, blocking, and performance nights
  • Teach technical theatre basics — lighting, set design, sound, and stage management
  • Prepare students for A/L Drama & Theatre examinations
  • Develop students' confidence, empathy, and communication through performance
  • Coordinate with school administration on drama event budgets and facilities
