You oversee the daily operations of an automotive service workshop — allocating jobs to technicians, managing workflow, enforcing quality standards, and ensuring customer vehicles are completed on time.

  • Assign incoming service jobs to technicians based on skills and availability
  • Monitor job progress and intervene when work falls behind schedule
  • Review completed repairs for quality before vehicle handover
  • Support technicians with technical guidance on complex repairs
  • Manage workshop safety compliance and housekeeping standards
  • Liaise with service advisors on job status, delays, and additional work
  • Track parts requirements and flag shortages to the parts department
  • Mentor junior technicians and assess training needs
