A Day in the Life
A Mural Artist/Interior Stylist spends their days transforming spaces with custom artwork and aesthetic designs. This involves client consultations, concept development, sketching, color mixing, and meticulous painting on various surfaces, often working on-site for extended periods. Interior styling might involve sourcing decor and arranging elements to complement the mural.
- Consult with clients to understand their vision, space, and budget for murals or interior styling projects.
- Develop design concepts, create mood boards, and present sketches or digital mock-ups to clients for approval.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, which may include cleaning, priming, and taping off areas.
- Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and textures, often working with large quantities.
- Execute murals using various painting techniques, brushes, and tools, ensuring precision and artistic quality.
- Source and select furniture, lighting, textiles, and decorative items for interior styling projects.
- Arrange and style interior spaces, paying attention to balance, harmony, and client preferences.
