A Day in the Life

You teach Logic and Ethics (also known as Philosophy) at A/L level in government schools, developing students' critical reasoning, ethical analysis, and philosophical thinking skills.

  • Plan and deliver A/L Logic and Scientific Method and Ethics lessons
  • Teach formal and informal logic — deductive, inductive reasoning, argument analysis
  • Cover ethical theories — utilitarianism, Kantian ethics, virtue ethics, and applied ethics
  • Prepare students for A/L Logic & Scientific Method and Ethics examinations
  • Design essay-based and structured response assessment tasks
  • Guide students in philosophical discussion and debate
  • Mark examination papers with rigorous attention to argument quality
  • Participate in subject-specific in-service education (NIE) workshops
