About This Role

A Day in the Life

A Grant Writer spends their day researching potential funding opportunities, meticulously crafting compelling proposals, and managing the reporting requirements for existing grants. This involves extensive writing, budgeting, and collaboration with program teams to articulate impact and secure vital funding for the organization.

  • Researching and identifying potential funding opportunities from various donors (foundations, governments, corporations).
  • Developing and writing grant proposals, concept notes, and letters of inquiry.
