A Day in the Life

Develops new international buyer relationships and manages existing accounts for Sri Lankan garment factories — travelling to trade shows, presenting factory capability, and negotiating FOB pricing and order terms.

  • Research and identify potential new buyers (retailer, brand, importer) in target markets
  • Prepare and present factory capability decks to visiting buyers
  • Attend global trade shows (Magic Las Vegas, Texworld Paris, Premiere Vision)
  • Follow up on buyer enquiries and convert to trial orders
  • Negotiate FOB pricing, lead times, and payment terms with buyers
  • Coordinate with merchandising and production to ensure sample delivery on time
  • Maintain CRM database of buyer contacts and order pipeline
  • Report sales pipeline and new account development to management monthly
