A Day in the Life

A Sustainability / ESG Lead in Fashion focuses on integrating eco-friendly practices and ethical sourcing throughout the garment production lifecycle. This involves developing and implementing sustainability strategies, ensuring compliance with environmental and social standards, and reporting on ESG performance.

Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability and ESG strategies for fashion production.
Identify and evaluate eco-friendly materials and sustainable manufacturing processes.
Ensure compliance with international environmental and social certifications (e.g., GOTS, Oeko-Tex, Fair Trade).
Conduct supplier audits and manage ethical sourcing initiatives.
Prepare ESG reports and communicate sustainability performance to stakeholders.
Collaborate with design, production, and supply chain teams on sustainable solutions.
Train staff on sustainable practices and foster a culture of environmental responsibility.
Stay updated on global sustainability trends and regulations in the fashion industry.
