- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Manage, train, and motivate store staff, including scheduling and performance reviews.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, and minimize shrinkage.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and resolve customer complaints.
- Implement visual merchandising guidelines to enhance product presentation.
- Analyze sales figures and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies.
- Manage store budget, expenses, and cash handling procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
Work Environment
Works within a bustling retail store environment, which can be fast-paced and demanding. Involves constant interaction with staff, customers, and suppliers. Requires being on the sales floor for extended periods, often standing and moving around.
