You take ownership of a specific operational area — whether logistics, production scheduling, customer fulfilment, or service delivery — managing day-to-day execution, team performance, vendor relationships, and reporting to the operations manager.
- Manage daily operational targets for your assigned area (e.g., dispatch, production, service)
- Lead a small team of operations assistants or coordinators
- Review and approve operational plans, schedules, and resource allocations
- Handle escalated vendor, supplier, or customer issues
- Review operational KPIs and prepare performance reports for management
- Identify process inefficiencies and lead improvement initiatives
- Conduct team briefings and performance reviews
- Coordinate with procurement, finance, and logistics for end-to-end operations
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
