A Day in the Life

You lead a team of maintenance technicians and engineers — planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance programmes to maximise equipment uptime and support production targets.

  • Coordinate daily maintenance work orders and technician deployment
  • Review overnight breakdown reports and prioritise repairs for morning shift
  • Conduct equipment walkarounds to identify developing faults before breakdown
  • Approve and oversee major planned maintenance shutdowns
  • Review and update preventive maintenance schedules in CMMS
  • Report maintenance KPIs to engineering management (OEE, MTBF, downtime)
  • Manage maintenance spare parts inventory and reorder triggers
  • Coach and develop maintenance technicians on fault diagnosis skills
