A Graphic Designer / Illustrator spends their day translating concepts into compelling visuals. This involves sketching ideas, using design software to create logos, brochures, social media graphics, and digital illustrations, and collaborating with clients or marketing teams to meet their branding and communication needs.
- Meeting with clients or marketing teams to understand project requirements and briefs
- Brainstorming and sketching design concepts and ideas
- Creating logos, branding guidelines, and marketing collateral (brochures, flyers)
- Designing social media graphics, website layouts, and digital advertisements
- Developing original illustrations for various media (books, articles, campaigns)
- Selecting appropriate colors, fonts, images, and layouts
- Presenting designs to clients and incorporating feedback for revisions
- Ensuring final designs are print-ready or optimized for digital platforms
