Their day involves researching new materials, designing integrated electronic components, prototyping smart garments, conducting testing, and collaborating with designers, material scientists, and software engineers.
- Research new smart materials, sensors, and electronic components for textile integration
- Design and develop prototypes of smart garments or wearable technology products
- Integrate electronic circuits, sensors, and microcontrollers into textile structures
