A Day in the Life
Manage travel operations for a tour company or travel agency — overseeing the execution of bookings, coordinating with suppliers, ensuring quality control, and resolving operational issues.
- Oversee daily operations of travel bookings from confirmation to travel completion
- Coordinate with hotels, airlines, ground operators, and guides on booking details
- Manage operational issues — supplier problems, guest complaints, emergency response
- Review and quality check all travel documentation before client distribution
- Train and supervise travel consultant team on operational procedures
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships and contracts
- Monitor and control operational costs against budget
- Prepare operational performance reports for management
Work Environment
Travel agency or tour operator operations office. Manages the bridge between sales and ground execution. High coordination across multiple suppliers and internal teams. Peak season creates significant workload.
