Advises clients on travel destinations and bookings.

A Day in the Life

Help clients plan and book memorable travel experiences — researching destinations, building itineraries, and coordinating flights, hotels, and activities for individual and group travelers.

  • Consult with clients to understand travel preferences, budget, and expectations
  • Research and build bespoke travel itineraries for international and domestic travel
  • Book flights, hotels, transfers, and activities using GDS and supplier systems
  • Prepare detailed travel documents (itineraries, vouchers, insurance, visa guidance)
  • Handle changes, cancellations, and emergencies during client travel
  • Build and maintain client relationships for repeat and referral business
  • Stay current on airline promotions, hotel deals, and destination updates
  • Meet monthly sales targets for travel bookings and commissions

Work Environment

Travel agency offices in Colombo or working remotely. Client-facing sales environment with GDS terminal and supplier portal access. Fast-paced during peak booking seasons (January–March for northern summer, October–November for December season).
