A Day in the Life

Manage a bank branch in Sri Lanka, overseeing customer service, sales targets, daily operations, staff performance, and regulatory compliance. The Branch Manager is the P&L owner of their branch.

  • Open branch and review daily cash position and vault operations
  • Coach and supervise customer service officers (CSOs) and relationship managers
  • Drive deposit mobilization, loan disbursement, and fee income targets
  • Resolve escalated customer complaints within branch authority
  • Conduct daily morning briefings and weekly team meetings
  • Review branch P&L, productivity reports, and cost controls
  • Ensure compliance with CBSL regulations, KYC/AML procedures, and internal audit requirements
