A Day in the Life

Provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment for infants, children, and adolescents with developmental delays, cerebral palsy, genetic conditions, orthopaedic issues, and childhood neurological disorders in Sri Lanka.

  • Assess children using pediatric standardized tests (GMFCS, Bayley Scales)
  • Design play-based physiotherapy programs for developmental delay
  • Provide neurodevelopmental therapy (NDT) for cerebral palsy children
  • Conduct postural management and orthosis prescription
  • Collaborate with pediatricians, occupational therapists, and SLTs
  • Counsel and train parents in home exercise programs
  • Monitor developmental milestones and adjust programs
  • Participate in early intervention programs

Children's hospital, pediatric department, early intervention center, or specialist pediatric physiotherapy clinic. Child-friendly environment with play-based therapy. Requires working with anxious parents and young children.
