About This Role
Conduct educational research at the National Institute of Education (NIE) Sri Lanka. Design and evaluate national curricula, develop teacher training programmes, produce educational research publications, advise on national education policy, and create resource materials for Sri Lanka's school system.
A Day in the Life
An NIE Educational Researcher designs curriculum frameworks, analyses educational data, writes research reports and curriculum guides, conducts teacher training workshops, and participates in national education policy discussions. The role combines desk-based research with field visits to schools and teacher training programmes.
