A Day in the Life
IT Support Assistants provide basic first-line help for computer users — logging tickets, resetting passwords, setting up equipment, and escalating issues to more senior support staff.
- Log incoming support tickets from users
- Reset user passwords and unlock accounts
- Help users with basic software questions
- Set up and image new computers
- Assist senior support staff with tasks
- Update IT asset registers
- Greet walk-in IT support visitors
Work Environment
Helpdesk environment. User-facing. Very entry-level with clear supervision.
