Analyzes real estate market trends to advise on property investment and development.

A Day in the Life

Analyze real estate investment opportunities in Sri Lanka, evaluating commercial, residential, and hospitality properties for acquisition, development, or fund investment. Work with property developers, REITs, and investment funds.

Conduct financial modeling for property acquisitions (DCF, IRR, NPV analysis)
Research SL real estate market trends (Colombo commercial, residential, hotel)
Evaluate land titles, zoning regulations, and UDA/local authority approvals
Perform due diligence on target properties (physical, legal, financial)
Prepare investment committee presentations and underwriting memoranda
Monitor portfolio performance of real estate assets
Track REITs listed on CSE and comparable transaction data
