About This Role

A Day in the Life
An IELTS/English Proficiency Coach teaches structured sessions focusing on IELTS writing, speaking, reading, and listening. Each day involves multiple individual or group coaching sessions, providing detailed feedback on essays and speaking performances, and tracking student band score progress. Online coaching now enables coaches to serve students nationally and internationally.
- Conduct IELTS/TOEFL/OET/PTE preparation classes (individual and group)
- Evaluate and provide detailed feedback on IELTS writing tasks (Task 1 & 2)
- Conduct speaking mock interviews with band score feedback
- Design practice tests and listening exercises
- Track individual student progress towards target band scores
- Provide vocabulary, grammar, and academic English instruction
- Coach students for specific visa or professional English requirements (OET for nurses/doctors)
- Maintain online class content and student communication
Work Environment
