Manages daily service and profitability of hotel restaurants and bars.
A Day in the Life
Manage specific F&B outlets within a hotel — ensuring each restaurant, bar, or café meets its individual service standards, revenue targets, and guest satisfaction requirements.
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned F&B outlet(s)
- Brief and deploy service team at start of each shift
- Monitor table turns, cover counts, and average spend per cover
- Inspect cleanliness, mise en place, and presentation standards before service
- Handle guest feedback and immediate service recovery
- Review POS reports for outlet revenue against daily targets
- Coordinate with kitchen for food quality consistency
- Manage outlet-level staff scheduling, leave, and performance tracking
Work Environment
Focuses on specific outlet management within a hotel — may be a specialty restaurant, all-day dining, rooftop bar, or pool bar. More hands-on than an F&B Manager — directly supervising service during meal periods.
Typical hours: 52h/week · WLB score 4/10 · COMMON overtime
