A Day in the Life

Environmental Data Scientists apply data science techniques to environmental datasets — modelling climate patterns, analysing pollution data, and developing predictive systems for sustainability planning.

Analyse environmental sensor and satellite datasets
Build predictive models for climate and environmental outcomes
Clean and process GIS and geospatial data
Collaborate with environmental scientists on data interpretation
Develop dashboards for environmental monitoring
Write research reports and technical papers
Apply machine learning to environmental classification problems
