A Day in the Life

DevOps & Cloud Engineers combine software development practices with cloud operations — building automated pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, enabling continuous delivery, and ensuring applications remain reliable, observable, and scalable in production.

Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple teams
Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerised workloads
Write infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi)
Implement monitoring, alerting, and distributed tracing
Conduct capacity planning and cost optimisation reviews
Lead incident response and post-mortem analysis
Collaborate with developers to define deployment and observability standards
