A Day in the Life

Lead marketing campaigns and strategies that promote Sri Lanka (or a specific hotel/resort) as a premier travel destination to international and domestic markets.

  • Develop and execute destination marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
  • Manage relationships with international tour operators, travel agents, and OTAs (Booking.com, Expedia)
  • Create content strategy for destination social media, website, and brochures
  • Analyze visitor data and market trends to identify target segments (luxury, adventure, wellness)
  • Coordinate familiarization (FAM) trips for international travel journalists and tour operators
  • Represent Sri Lanka at international travel trade shows (ITB Berlin, WTM London, Arabian Travel Market)
  • Manage marketing budget and track ROI for campaigns
  • Collaborate with SLTPB on national marketing initiatives and co-marketing opportunities
