A Day in the Life
Lead internal communications strategy — ensuring employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with company direction through newsletters, town halls, intranet content, and leadership messaging.
- Develop and execute the internal communications calendar
- Write and distribute employee newsletters, CEO messages, and announcements
- Plan and manage employee town halls, internal events, and all-hands meetings
- Manage and update the company intranet with timely, relevant content
- Coordinate with HR and leadership on change communications (restructuring, policy changes)
- Create internal campaigns to build culture, values, and engagement
- Measure internal comms effectiveness through surveys and analytics
- Brief senior leaders on messaging and presentation delivery
Work Environment
A collaborative environment bridging HR, leadership, and all business units. You are the editorial voice inside the organisation, ensuring employees feel informed and valued. Requires discretion when handling sensitive change communications.
Typical hours: 45h/week · WLB score 7/10 · OCCASIONAL overtime
Generally structured hours with spikes during major announcements, restructuring communications, or leadership events. Crisis communications can occasionally demand extended hours.
