A Day in the Life

Deploys, manages, and optimises cloud-based applications and infrastructure. More hands-on than a Cloud Architect — a Cloud Solutions Engineer implements and operates the solutions on platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure.

  • Deploy and configure cloud services (EC2, Lambda, GKE, etc.)
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Ansible
  • Monitor cloud system performance and costs
  • Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues
  • Automate operational tasks with scripts
  • Support development teams with cloud tooling
  • Implement security best practices in cloud environments
