A Day in the Life

Deploys, manages, and optimises cloud-based applications and infrastructure. More hands-on than a Cloud Architect — a Cloud Solutions Engineer implements and operates the solutions on platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure.

Deploy and configure cloud services (EC2, Lambda, GKE, etc.)
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Ansible
Monitor cloud system performance and costs
Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues
Automate operational tasks with scripts
Support development teams with cloud tooling
Implement security best practices in cloud environments
