A Day in the Life

Cloud Network Architects design the complete networking layer for cloud and hybrid cloud environments — engineering secure, high-performance network architectures that connect on-premises data centres, cloud VPCs, and global CDN/edge networks.

Design cloud VPC architectures, transit gateways, and network peering
Define network security architecture (firewalls, WAF, DDoS protection)
Plan hybrid connectivity (Direct Connect, VPN, SD-WAN)
Optimise content delivery networks (CDN) for global performance
Create network as code using Terraform/CDK
Review and audit network security configurations
Troubleshoot complex network performance and connectivity issues
