About This Role

Manages and maintains an organization's cloud-based infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

A Day in the Life

Cloud Engineers build and manage cloud infrastructure — provisioning servers, configuring networks, automating deployments, and ensuring applications run reliably and cost-efficiently on AWS, GCP, or Azure platforms.

Provision cloud infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation
Configure auto-scaling, load balancers, and network security groups
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployments
Monitor cloud costs and optimise resource utilisation
Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting (CloudWatch, Datadog)
Manage cloud IAM policies and security configurations
Respond to infrastructure incidents and troubleshoot cloud issues
