A Day in the Life
Designs the overall cloud computing strategy and infrastructure for organisations. Decides which cloud services to use, how to structure systems for reliability, security, and cost efficiency. A senior, high-impact role in Sri Lankan tech.
- Design cloud architecture for new systems and migrations
- Review and approve infrastructure decisions by engineering teams
- Optimise cloud costs and resource utilisation
- Define security and compliance requirements for cloud systems
- Evaluate new cloud services and technologies
- Consult with CTO and engineering leadership on tech strategy
- Create architecture documentation and diagrams
