About This Role

Designs the visual look of films, teledramas, and commercials — lighting, camera placement, lens choice, and colour palette. Sri Lankan DPs work on local films, teledramas, and increasingly on Sri Lanka-shot scenes in Indian films (Kollywood, Bollywood use Sri Lanka as a shooting location). HNDA Fine Arts or SLITHM film studies are common entry paths.
