A Day in the Life
Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair medical equipment at hospitals and healthcare facilities across Sri Lanka. Ensure all biomedical devices meet safety and performance standards to support patient care.
- Perform preventive maintenance on medical equipment (ECG machines, ventilators, monitors)
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning biomedical equipment
- Calibrate diagnostic and therapeutic equipment
- Test and commission newly installed medical equipment
- Maintain equipment inventory and service records
- Conduct safety testing (electrical safety, leak tests)
- Coordinate with medical equipment vendors and spare parts suppliers
- Train clinical staff on correct equipment use
