A Day in the Life

Backend Developers write the server-side code that powers web and mobile applications — building APIs, business logic, and database interactions that make digital products functional, fast, and secure.

Build and maintain RESTful APIs consumed by frontend apps
Write business logic for application features
Design and manage database queries and schemas
Write automated tests (unit, integration, e2e)
Review pull requests from teammates
