A Day in the Life

Manage all airline ground operations at an airport station — overseeing check-in, boarding, ramp, and passenger services to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations.

  • Oversee all departure and arrival operations for assigned airline at BIA or regional airport
  • Manage station team — check-in agents, ramp handlers, and customer service staff
  • Coordinate with airport authority, customs, and immigration for smooth flight operations
  • Handle passenger IRROP (Irregular Operations) — delays, diversions, denied boarding
  • Manage fuel, catering, and ground equipment coordination for departing flights
  • Ensure CAASL safety and security compliance at the station
  • Prepare and submit station performance reports to regional headquarters
  • Manage station budget, vendor contracts, and ground handling agreements

Work Environment

Airport terminal and ramp environment. 24/7 operation management requiring shift coverage and personal availability for major IRROPs. High accountability role with airline brand on the line at every departure.

Typical hours: 60h/week · WLB score 4/10 · COMMON overtime
