One of Sri Lanka's oldest technical education institutions, tracing its roots to the 1893 Government Technical School. Manages 39 Technical Colleges across 4 zones, including 9 Colleges of Technology offering NVQ Level 5/6 diploma programmes (one per province). International partnerships with UNDP, British Council, ILO, JICA, Japan, Korea, and Germany. All courses are free of charge.
