A Day in the Life
Operate and manage transportation services for tourism — driving tourists safely between destinations, managing vehicle scheduling, and providing excellent passenger experience throughout Sri Lanka's tourism circuit.
- Transport tourists between hotels, attractions, airports, and destinations across Sri Lanka
- Provide basic destination commentary and recommendations during journeys
- Maintain assigned vehicle in safe, clean, and presentable condition
- Coordinate with tour operators and guides on daily pickup schedules
- Handle tourist luggage and assist with boarding/alighting at attraction entrances
- Manage vehicle fuel, maintenance records, and daily mileage logs
- Respond professionally to tourist queries in English
- Adapt routing based on road conditions and attraction access changes
Work Environment
Sri Lanka's tourism circuit — Colombo, Kandy, Sigiriya, Dambulla, Galle, Yala, Nuwara Eliya. Long driving days (often 8–12 hours). Direct contact with international tourists. Vehicle provided by tour operator or self-owned for independent operators.
