A Day in the Life

Lead tourism product development, destination planning, and stakeholder coordination for Sri Lanka's tourism industry — driving growth through new experiences, partnerships, and strategic programs.

  • Develop and manage tourism development plans aligned with SLTDA and national tourism strategy
  • Identify and assess new tourism product opportunities (eco, wellness, cultural, adventure)
  • Coordinate with provincial councils, local government, and community stakeholders
  • Manage tourism infrastructure development projects (trails, signage, visitor centers)
  • Prepare funding proposals and project reports for government and international donors (UNDP, ADB, USAID)
  • Conduct feasibility studies for new tourism zones and attractions
  • Collaborate with SLTDA, Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB), and Ministry of Tourism
  • Monitor and evaluate tourism development program outcomes and KPIs
