A Day in the Life

Systems Analysts bridge business needs and IT solutions — gathering requirements from stakeholders, analysing current systems, designing process improvements, writing functional specifications, and ensuring implemented systems meet business objectives.

  • Conduct requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders
  • Analyse existing systems and business processes for improvement opportunities
  • Write business requirements documents (BRD) and functional specifications
  • Model processes using BPMN, flowcharts, and use cases
  • Liaise between development teams and business users
  • Review and test implemented systems against requirements
  • Manage stakeholder sign-off and change requests
