A Day in the Life
You service, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration equipment — supermarket display cases, cold storage rooms, ice machines, and walk-in freezers — keeping food safe and businesses running.
- Diagnose refrigeration faults — compressor failure, refrigerant leaks, expansion valve issues
- Recover, evacuate, and recharge refrigerant using recovery/recharge station
- Replace compressors, condenser fans, evaporator fans, and thermostatic expansion valves
- Service display cases — clean evaporator coils, check door seals, defrost cycle
- Maintain cold store rooms — check temperature logs, inspect insulation, service condensing units
- Install and service ice machine units in hotels and restaurants

- Issue service reports and maintain maintenance records for food safety compliance
