A Day in the Life

  • Conduct diagnostic audiological assessments for infants (AABR, ASSR)
  • Use behavioral audiological testing for toddlers (VRA, play audiometry)
  • Program pediatric cochlear implants and optimize mapping
  • Counsel parents on hearing loss diagnosis and rehabilitation options
  • Collaborate with ENT surgeons, SLTs, and educators of the deaf
  • Monitor hearing aid outcomes in children through aided audiograms
  • Participate in early hearing detection and intervention (EHDI) programs
