A Day in the Life

Network Support Officers maintain organisational network infrastructure — responding to connectivity issues, configuring switches and routers, monitoring network performance, and coordinating with ISPs and vendors for fault resolution.

Respond to network connectivity tickets from users
Configure switches, routers, and access points
Monitor network performance and uptime dashboards
Troubleshoot WAN, LAN, and WiFi connectivity issues
Coordinate with ISP for line faults and escalations
Maintain network documentation and topology diagrams
Perform routine maintenance on network equipment
