A Day in the Life
ICT Technicians provide hands-on technology support in schools, government offices, or community organisations — setting up equipment, fixing problems, and helping non-technical users with day-to-day IT needs.
- Set up and configure computers and projectors
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for users
- Maintain ICT lab equipment in schools
- Update software and apply security patches
- Help users with email, printing, and connectivity
- Keep basic IT inventory records
- Escalate complex issues to engineers
