A Day in the Life

Supervise a team of room attendants on assigned hotel floors — inspecting rooms, managing workloads, handling guest requests, and ensuring consistent cleanliness standards are maintained.

  • Assign room attendant daily workloads based on arrivals, departures, and stayovers
  • Conduct room inspections on all completed rooms before releasing to Front Office
  • Handle immediate guest complaints related to room cleanliness on assigned floors
  • Coordinate with room attendants on special setup requests (VIP rooms, floral, amenities)
  • Monitor linen and amenity supply levels and requisition from linen room
  • Report to housekeeping manager on floor status, issues, and staff performance
  • Train new room attendants on floor procedures and quality standards
  • Ensure health and safety compliance on assigned floors
